Our training can be conducted virtually or on-site, and attendees receive copies or access to the presentation materials.  All courses are designed for your audience and can include one, two, or all of the above topics, depending on your needs and time allotment.  Our experts provide one- or two-hour briefings, as well as half-day and full-day benefits programs.  We excel at answering questions and providing accurate and valuable information in every session. Each of our experts have 30+ years of federal benefits experience and conduct classes for federal employees of all ages and groups, from individual consultations to webinars with 1,000+ attendees!

We specialize in providing training for:

  •  mid-career planning that helps employees address "what-if" questions, such as "What if I leave early?" "What if I work long enough to retire?" "What if I become disabled?" and "Will my family be protected if something happens to me?"

  • Pre-retirement planning checklist and benefit review: what to expect in the months before your retirement date and the transition period that follows.  What are the key documents that you need to save, and what does the Office of Personnel Management need to receive?  What are the considerations when electing survivor benefits?  Do you know how to choose the best retirement date for your situation?  How to be sure that you will receive credit for all of your federal civilian and military service.  Find out how your sick leave is added to your length of service and your annual leave can provide a "cushion of cash" to carry you through the early days of retirement while the "dust settles" on your transition to the next chapter of your life.

  • post-retirement considerations related to your life events and insurance needs.  Our experts will help you stay up to date on changes to your benefits and to your life that may affect your retirement income.  Topics include Medicare and FEHB coordination, survivor benefits for your spouse and family, changing insurance needs, updating your move or life event with OPM, TSP, and SSA, reducing the cost of coverage, benefits for your "new" spouse, and how divorce impacts your retirement and insurance benefits.
