Lacey D. Yegen

Estate Planning in the Washington, DC Area

Lacey D. Yegen, our Senior Associate, first joined Handler & Levine, LLC as an associate in the spring of 2017. Her practice is focused on the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration.

Lacey began her career working as a Staff Attorney for the Appalachian Research and Defense Fund of Kentucky, Inc. (AppalReD Legal Aid) in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, where she represented clients in family, consumer and housing cases. While in Kentucky, she was elected the President of the Floyd County Bar Association and she served on the Board of Directors of the David School and Turning Point Domestic Violence Shelter.


Lacey received her B.A. in Politics from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., and earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Baltimore, School of Law in Baltimore, Maryland. She is admitted to practice law in D.C., Maryland, Virginia and Kentucky.


Lacey grew up in Rockville, Maryland and graduated from the Connelly School of the Holy Child in Potomac. She currently lives in Potomac, with her husband, and two sons. She is a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Potomac and a member of Congressional Country Club in Bethesda.
